So, it's hot here. Really hot. The kind of hot I really hate. But, when you have a little one you have to get outside sometimes. So yesterday morning we met up with a bunch of Luke's buddies from Gymboree and their mommies for a playdate. A few of the parks here in KC have these great things called splash parks. It is basically a gated area with fountains and water in which the kids can play. It's nice because it's free and it's not a "pool", so the kids can be on their own a bit more. For being a bunch of splash park rookies, I think everyone had a great time. Luke loved playing in the "ountains" and hanging out with his Gymbo friends! It was definitely something we'll have to do again during these hot, humid summer days.
