We had breakfast with Santa last Saturday morning at Aixois. It was a fundraiser for CCVI and we went with Matt's whole family. As soon as we walked in the door we saw someone dressed like a snowman and Luke started shaking. I knew then that we would not be getting a good shot with Santa this year. Luke recovered and had fun sitting with his cousins. Santa made his way around to every table. Luke was fine in the above picture when he could just watch Santa. And he liked that Santa was giving every child a book.
But then it came time to get a picture with Santa and this was about as close as he would go. Thank goodness for the barrier all his cousins provided! Maybe next year...
On a side note...Santa's voice seemed oddly familiar to me, so I asked someone who was helping out Santa at the breakfast. Turns out the guy helping out Santa was none other than the plantiff's attorney from the trial I served on in August!
