We had a wonderful and busy Easter weekend! We all dyed eggs on Friday night. Luke mostly liked plopping them in the dye...not waiting for the color to take.
Then Easter morning we woke up to see that the Easter Bunny had been to our house! Luke was excited to see what was in his basket and then look for eggs. (He'd gotten some good practice at a birthday party the day before.) Every time he found an egg he would gasp...too cute!
He particularly liked the few Lightning McQueen eggs as they had quarters in them!
The Easter Bunny brought a magnifying glass...something Luke has wanted for a long time. He often pretends that Kaki's make-up mirror is one and goes hunting for things with it. He was very excited to get his own!
The stomp rocket was also a big hit...with all of us!
Then we headed to Gigi and Grandbob's house for Easter brunch and a fun-filled day with the cousins.
Then, magically, the Easter Bunny made a visit to their house too! We had another egg hunt and Luke was running around all over with his cousins. They all found lots of loot!
Here was the discovery of the very last egg...I think the big boys were actually sweethearts and gave it to Luke. Happy Easter everyone!
