Food!

At Grace's 4 month appointment her pediatrician suggested we go ahead and start introducing food whenever we felt ready. We waited much longer with Luke, but Grace seemed interested, so we thought we'd go for it. Here is one of her first tastes of rice cereal... The next day didn't start much better, but she ended up taking the spoon from me and exploring a bit on her own.

She actually seems to like it now and is opening her mouth for bites. She loves being up high at the table with all of us.

We started oatmeal this weekend and she had her first sweet potatoes at lunch today. After a few sour faces she seemed to really like the new flavor. Luke likes to watch her and can't believe how messy she gets. Considering he barely eats, he has no idea that most kids get messy when they eat.
