Garden City Visit

On our way to Colorado a couple of weeks ago we took a short detour to see Matt's grandparents in Garden City. We descended on Verlyn and Barbara after about seven hours in the car and the kids were wild after sitting that long. We checked out their gardens (biggest marigolds I've ever seen!!) and Great-grandpa's pump he built. While we visited inside, the kids tumbled around and showed off all of their favorite "tricks". Grace liked finding pictures of herself around the house too.

We had a nice dinner at their favorite Mexican restaurant. Luke didn't eat all of his tator tots (shocking, I know!) and Great-grandpa kept teasing him about taking them home in his pockets to eat for breakfast. 

After breakfast with Great-grandpa the next morning at our hotel, we continued on our way to Colorado. We are so happy we got the chance to see Verlyn and Barbara and that Luke and Grace got some time with their great-grandparents! Thank you for letting our wild crew come visit!
