Busy Summer Weekend

We all seem to be a little tired around here today after a busy, hot weekend. We spent a great Friday night at the Prairie Village Art Fair. Luke completely wore us out as he made his way between the two bounce houses, the dance floor, and the dogs there for adoption. He and his little friend Will were the first two people to hit the dance floor.

Yesterday we hit the pool for a while and then spent the evening at a friend's annual party. There were a million kids there and Luke had a blast playing with them while we chatted. (These people hire babysitters to watch all the kids while the parents socialize...awesome!) The best part of Luke's night though was finding Buzz Lightyear wings in the host's playroom. He and several other little boys enjoyed trading off and playing Buzz all night. He did have a classic line about these as well...he was wearing them and went up to Matt and said, "Kaki will buy these for me??" He also asked me if Target was still open. Too funny! We're thinking maybe we should use them as a potty training incentive...
