Luke and the Hawks

Luke is really getting in to the Hawks this year...I wonder where he gets it?! He was lucky enough to get to go to the first regular season basketball game of the year a couple of weeks ago. He and Daddy sat in Gigi and Grandbob's awesome seats and had a great time!

Here he is doing a little jersey poppin' before he left for the game. At the game with Gigi
Most likely his favorite part of any event...popcorn!

On Saturday Matt took Luke to the last football home game. It was a cold morning, but the boys had fun playing around on the Hill. I kinda freaked out when I found this picture on Matt's phone last night...I love it! Too bad it's just a cell phone shot.

They saw Big Jay and Luke ran up to him saying, "Daddy, it's the Jayhawk!" He hugged him, took this picture, and then gave him a high five. We're shocked because he had always been scared of the Jayhawks before.

Luke and Henry had fun at the game together again.

The picture below is really bad, but it's a funny story. Before the first game of the season (before Grace was born) we all went in to Lawrence and spent some time on Mass St. We parked in front of a record store and for some reason went in. They have a cat named Sam who lives there and Luke had fun petting Sam and giving him hugs. Now Luke talks about Sam a lot. (When my aunt Peggy mentioned a month or so ago that Carl was in Lawrence, Luke said "Does he know Sam?")
Matt has taken Luke to visit Sam two more times now, including last weekend. The girl working at the store said Sam was asleep upstairs so they got to go up and look for him and found him in a Christmas wreath. Luke told me alllll about it.
