Learning to Swim
Starting in mid-April, we spent every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 6:00-6:30 for nine weeks at the Y for swimming lessons for Luke. While we never had to force him in the water like a couple of kids we saw, he certainly did not love it. We really want to get him comfortable in the water though because we spend so much time at Gigi and Grandbob's pool in the summer. Luke does not like to go under water, so the jumping in part has been the biggest challenge. In the last two weeks he finally jumped in without holding on to the teacher's hand. 
Our experience with the lessons was up and down, but we stuck with them and are very glad we did. We took this video on Saturday after Luke had been swimming around all over the place. He's swimming to Matt in the deep end in this. He wears his "bubble" everywhere and is getting much more comfortable in the water! We are so proud of how far Luke has come!
