Golf

Golf is a big part of Spring and Summer around here. This year though, it isn't just Matt headed out to play. He's been taking Luke out to hit balls on any possible decent weekend day. They even practiced inside with the nets a few times this winter. In fact, Luke had one great encounter there. He had what Matt said was his best swing of the day and they heard someone say, "Holy cow!" Matt turned around and it was George Brett with his arms raised up in the air! He praised Luke's swing and Matt introduced Luke to "Mr. Brett."  He has since complimented Luke on his new Royals hat as well!

One nice Saturday afternoon we all four hit the course together and played three holes. It was Luke's first time playing on the "real course" and he enjoyed it. I loved being back out there too and only wish I had more time to take up golf.

 Grace thought it was fun to be along for the ride in the cart and was in control of the popcorn!

 I love watching these two on the course together.

She asked me if this was her "golfing dress." Sure, a smocked Wizard of Oz dress is what most golfers wear, right?
