Welcome!
We hope this gives you a little peek into our family
life as we watch Luke and Grace learn and grow. Rock Chalk Jayhawk!
Football Season is Here!
Saturday was KU's first game of the season, so we headed back to Lawrence for our first tailgate of the year. We talked to Luke for days about who was going to be there and he was so excited to see all of his favorite people in one place! It sure makes it nice when both families love the Jayhawks. It meant he got to see all his grandparents, aunts, his uncle, cousins, Great Aunt Peggy, Carl, and Emmy all in one day! He had a great time tailgating. He loved his walks to see Potter Lake, the Campanile, the "big Jayhawk", and the band. He even tried to play football with the big boys and their friends. Not sure he liked being tackled for the first time though...

The picture below isn't great, but it was KU's first touchdown of the year. Luke liked waving the wheat and cheering when everyone else did. He was pretty mesmerized when we were in the stadium...there was a lot to see!
At halftime we went up to Grandbob and Gigi's suite so Luke could play with his cousins a bit. He liked goofing around up there. We all had a great evening as we celebrated a big KU victory!
