Happy Halloween from our Earless Elephant!

I love the picture above because this is truly what happened every time we tried to put on Luke's hood with his ears. He hated that hood, but he loved the rest of his elephant costume. So, rather than have all of Halloween look like this, we just went with the earless elephant.

We had lots of fun over the weekend. We went to Gymboree on Thursday so Luke could play with his friends in his costume.

Luke finally tried a lollipop at the end of Gymbo. He's been turning them down because he hates sticky things, but all the other kids were having them, so he tried one. He loved it and has been asking for lollipops all weekend!

We went trick or treating at Matt's office Thursday afternoon. Luke liked going from office to office to get candy. He got mad when we'd stop to talk too long and he'd say, "Keep going!"

Saturday morning we went to a big Halloween party at a friend's house. There were LOTS of young kids there. It was hysterical to watch them all walk around and play in their costumes. The best part of the party though was witnessing the chaos of trying to get one group picture. The picture below is my favorite because it shows all the parents trying to arrange the kids and bribe them to stay in one place.

Here's the best one I got...

That afternoon and evening we went trick or treating. We went to Aunt Becca's and Gigi and Grandbob's for special visits. Luke liked trick or treating a lot!

Here we are at the end of a very long day. Luke was enjoying another lollipop and wouldn't let go of his pumpkin bag. Hope everyone had a very happy Halloween!
