Happy Birthday Mom/Kaki!

My mom celebrated a big birthday this past weekend - 6-0! My sister, aunt, and I helped her celebrate with a little cocktail party with many of her best girlfriends. It was a great time!

Peggy's home looked beautiful, our food was fabulous (if I do say so myself :-)), and everyone enjoyed seeing the many pictures of mom through the years that were displayed around the house.

It's possible though that my mom's favorite part of the day was getting some alone time with Luke. While my sister and I worked on party prep, she took Luke to the park, Target, and McDonald's. He was thrilled to hit three of his favorite places all in one morning! Then he came to the very end of the party with my dad and Matt and was happy to help celebrate Kaki!
