Perspective

It's amazing the way kids can change your perspective on things. Normally after a humiliating KU loss Matt and I would have been pretty depressed, but instead, we tried to focus on how much fun we had at the game with Luke. We were annoyed with the ridiculousness of losing that game, sure. But Luke had such fun all afternoon and evening that it didn't really matter.

We went extra early to the game so that he could spend some time in the "Hawk Zone". Last year Luke tried the slide at the very last home game. What a difference a year makes! This year he was up and down all by himself.
He also loves the inflatable obstacle course. We waited in line for that a couple of times.

We had a great time in Grandbob's suite and seats during the game. It was a beautiful day, a gorgeous night, and lots of fun with our big boy!
