Kicking Off The Season

We've had a great time at the first few KU football games this year, despite the Hawks being horrible. The weather has been awesome and we've had a great time hanging out with lots of family and friends. Our little cheerleader loves it so much and asks me several times a week now to "Go Jayhawk game." She cheers, "Go Hawks! Go Grace! Go Horns!" It took me a little while to figure out why she sounded like a Texas Longhorns fan, but I realized she is literally cheering for the horns...in the band. Good to know those kids have support too.

Cousins!
Grace with Gigi and then in her favorite spot in the suite...in the window. Here she is watching the band and no doubt cheering for the horns and drums.

With Kaki and Aunt Becca and below with her buddy Meg.
Luke with two of his best buddies, Davis and Brooks. Then a whole crew of us headed up to watch the band come down the Hill and visit the bells in the Campanile.
Our buddy Henry joined the crew of boys too. They had a ball and even stayed still and quiet as the band passed. That is saying a lot for these boys! I love this pic of them overlooking Memorial Stadium. It reminds me of that painting "Jaydreamin'".

Brooks and Luke running down the Hill from Potter Lake. I love watching these kids love Lawrence as much as we do!
