Halloween

Halloween-time around here is always so much fun! The kids are at great ages and were totally in to all of the activities. Grace knew early on that she wanted to be Tinkerbell and Luke decided on Wolverine for the party. We started all of the festivities with a big party the weekend before with lots of our friends.

Grace and Lucy, one of her little besties. Posing and then dancing the night away.

Daddies in on the action.

Tired little TinkerBell
Even Wolverine was exhausted after this party!

Here is Grace's little preschool class on Halloween day. They were so excited!
Then later in the day I was at Briarwood for Luke's school parade and class party. It was a rainy afternoon, so the huge school crammed the parade into the gym rather than outside. I loved it! As you can see, Luke decided on a different costume for school. He went as Lloyd, the Green Ninja from Ninjago. The reason for his decision was very cute - his principal made an announcement that costumes could not include weapons. He was worried that Wolverine's (plastic) claws might be considered weapons and he might get in trouble. So, Lloyd it was!

Our little Ninja
Dance party outside our house before trick-or-treating. We had such a fun night - first hitting an outdoor shopping center near our house in the late afternoon and then in the neighborhood in the evening.
We just happened to get something delivered that very day that was packed in dry ice. Made for a fun little set-up with our jack-o-lanterns. Luke loved it and was fascinated and Grace wouldn't go near it.
The evening ended late with sorting through all the candy and then a few snuggles on the stairs before bed. Such a fun Halloween!
