Girls (and Little Boys Weekend) - Take 2

Several weeks ago we were lucky enough to have Girls (and Little Boys) Weekend here in KC. Last year Luke and I traveled to Minneapolis to meet up with my two best friends Meg and Jess and Jess' son Charlie. This year they all made it down here so we could have a great weekend together. It was unbelievably hot while they were here, so we tried to find ways to keep the boys cool. Friday we hit the Loose Park sprayground for a while.

Friday night the boys had Dance Party USA in Luke's room. They got along so well and we loved watching them together. It made me wish even more that Jess lived here and not in LA!

Saturday we all went over to Gigi's pool and enjoyed some great time in the water there. The boys loved her special treat of popsicles by the pool!

Jess caught a picture of the boy's goodbye hug on Sunday morning. I hope they will be lifelong buddies!

We definitely need to make this an annual tradition! Love you all and thanks for coming to KC this year!
